Features of the Jewish Family Festival 2013
Program
The Great Jewish Family Festival gathers all communities, synagogues, & schools together for a day of unity. It is a fun and exciting as well as inspirational experience for all participants. The festival consists of several major components:
Circus
Featuring the Aerial Storm Circus
This year, the Aerial Storm Circus will be performing at dizzying heights! Marvel at the phenomenal show, featuring gravity-defying feats like flying trapeze artists, seesaw stunts, the giant wheel, fire juggling, and stilt walkers!
Be part of the action as you join the FREE circus training center!
Come see highly ranked professionals perform astounding, funny, and death defying feats of strength, agility, and skill! Watch in awe as fire performers, escape artists, and high flying acrobats defy the laws of physics taking your breath away! Laugh until your sides hurt at the satirical clowning! Be amazed by the talented coordination of a world class juggler!
Then try your hand at some of the circus skills in the Education Stations taught by the performers themselves! Ever wanted to juggle? Walk a tight rope? Balance on another person? This is your chance to try all this and more with true professionals!
Fair
This year's fair will include rides for all members of the family from toddler to Mom and Dad. The festival will be split into different age appropriate "zones"; Toddler Zone, Little Kid Zone, Big Kid Zone, Tweens, Teens, and Adults. It's up to you to decide where to go!
Locate the Entertainment Zone geared for your age group and participate in activities like scaling a 30-foot rock climbing wall, flying down a huge titanic slide, and playing tons of neat arcade games!
There will be activities, roving entertainment, and more. If you need a break, take a seat near the stage and enjoy an eclectic array of NON-STOP performances!

Food
Do you usually spend big for food at festivals? Not here! The Great Jewish Family Festival offers a full meal with every wristband purchase. Food options will include ALL YOU CAN EAT hot dogs, burgers, corn, pickles, watermelon, water, soft drinks and more. Concession stands will include carnival favorites such as cotton candy and popcorn. The food court will remain open throughout the entire festival and bonfire until 9 pm.
Parade
Whenever Lag B'Omer is on Sunday, GJFF makes a special Unity Parade that brings together Jewish children from throughout the community for a unique show of Jewish pride.
This year's Lag B'Omer parade will be different than in the past. An electric train, bicycle floats, student marching bands, fire jugglers, clowns and more will parade around the entire fair grounds at a few intervals during the afternoon. Everyone will have a chance to join any of the parade rounds and enjoy the festivities while we make a public show of our Jewish pride.
Bonfire

The festival Grand Finale will feature a spectacular Lag B'Omer bonfire, accompanied by a fire juggling show and the inimitable Even S'siyah Band! Sit around the fire, sing along, and enjoy the warmth and light a of traditional Lag B'Omer bonfire experience.
